Part 1

God's people were running away from a difficult life in Egypt. Moses was leading them toward a beautiful new land. But suddenly, they found a big sea in front of them!

Behind them, the king's army was rushing closer. The people were very scared, but Moses said, "Don't be afraid! God will fight for us!"

“Do not be afraid. Stand still, and you will see the Lord save you.” — Exodus 14:13

Part 2

Then God said to Moses, "Hold your staff out over the sea!" And a wonderful miracle happened: a strong wind blew, and the waters split open, forming two giant walls!

A dry path appeared in the middle of the sea. The people of Israel crossed the entire sea without getting their feet wet!

“The people of Israel walked through the sea on dry ground. The waters were like a wall on their right and on their left.” — Exodus 14:22
