The Shepherds Knew First
"Now there were in the same country shepherds living out in the fields."Luke 2:8
Reflection
The most important news in the world was given first to night-shift workers. God always starts with the overlooked.
Prayer
Father, thank You for looking at the overlooked. Amen!
Talk about it as a family
- What were the shepherds doing at night?
- Why did God tell them first?
- Who is often overlooked around us?
5-minute activity
Make little sheep by gluing cotton balls onto paper and set up a shepherds' field. Talk about people who work at night and pray for them. Read Luke 2:8-9.
