The Waiting Begins
"For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given."Isaiah 9:6
Reflection
December starts and the whole world gets ready. That prophecy was written seven hundred years earlier, and it came true exactly.
Prayer
Lord, prepare my heart for Christmas. Amen!
Talk about it as a family
- What do you most like waiting for in December?
- How did a prophecy written so long ago come true?
- Who is the child this verse talks about?
5-minute activity
Start a homemade Advent calendar: draw 25 squares on a sheet of paper and color one each day as you read the devotional. Color the first one today. Read Isaiah 9:6.
