Promised Long Ago
"But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, out of you shall come forth the One to be Ruler in Israel."Micah 5:2
Reflection
Even the town was announced centuries ahead of time. God does not improvise: He prepares with great care.
Prayer
God, thank You for planning everything so carefully. Amen!
Talk about it as a family
- How did God announce where Jesus would be born?
- What shows that God prepares everything carefully?
- Do you like surprises or plans better?
5-minute activity
Open a map on a phone or in an atlas and find Bethlehem and Nazareth. Measure the distance with your finger. Talk about God naming the town centuries ahead. Read Micah 5:2.
