The full story: Noah and the Ark

Part 1

Once upon a time, long, long ago, the world was very different from what we know today. People had forgotten to love God and each other.

But there was a special man named Noah. He was different from everyone else. Noah loved God with all his heart and always tried to do what was right.

"Noah was a righteous man, blameless among the people of his time. He walked faithfully with God." — Genesis 6:9

Part 2

One day, God spoke to Noah. His voice was soft like a breeze, but at the same time powerful like thunder:

- Noah, my faithful friend, I am going to send a great rain upon the Earth. It will be a rain like there has never been before.

Noah was amazed, but he wasn't afraid, because he trusted God.

God to Noah: Build an ark for yourself out of cypress wood. Make rooms in it. Coat it with tar inside and out.

Part 3

Noah started working on the ark right away. He cut wood, nailed planks, and followed all the instructions God had given him. The ark needed to be very, very big!

His neighbors walked by and laughed at Noah.

But Noah kept working. He knew that God always kept His promises.

"By faith Noah, when warned about things not yet seen, in holy fear built an ark." — Hebrews 11:7

Part 4

When the ark was ready, something amazing happened! Animals started arriving from all over the Earth. They came in pairs: two lions, two elephants, two giraffes...

It was a magical parade! There were animals Noah had never seen before.

- Come in, my friends! - Noah said, opening the ark's doors.

Noah to the animals: Come into the ark, two of every kind, to keep their families alive!

Part 5

Finally, the day came to leave the ark! God told Noah it was safe now. What immense joy! The animals ran out, leaping and flying.

Noah and his family knelt to thank God. Then God put a beautiful rainbow in the sky!

- This rainbow is my promise to you - God said.

"I am now making my covenant with you. Never again will all life be destroyed by the waters of a flood." — Genesis 9:11
