The Rainbow
"I set My rainbow in the cloud, and it shall be for the sign of the covenant."Genesis 9:13
Reflection
Every time a rainbow appears, it is a reminder hung in the sky. God likes leaving signs so we do not forget.
Prayer
Father, thank You for the signs of Your care. Amen!
Talk about it as a family
- What does the rainbow remind God and us of?
- Why does God like leaving signs?
- What sign at home helps you remember God?
5-minute activity
Place a glass of water near a sunny window, or shine a flashlight through it, and look for the rainbow on a white sheet of paper. Name the colors together. Read Genesis 9:12-16.
