The Empty Tomb
"They went in and did not find the body of the Lord Jesus."Luke 24:3
Reflection
The women went to care for Jesus’ body and found the place empty. Fright first, joy after. Sometimes God does far better than we expected.
Prayer
Lord, You do more than I can imagine. Amen!
Talk about it as a family
- What did the women expect to find?
- Why did fear turn into joy?
- When has God done better than you expected?
5-minute activity
Hide a few plastic eggs or small boxes around the house, with one left empty. Open them together, and when you find the empty one, talk about the empty tomb as the best surprise. Read Luke 24:1-8.
