He Is Risen
"He is not here, for He is risen, as He said."Matthew 28:6
Reflection
This is the best news ever announced in the world. The tomb was empty because Jesus beat death. Nothing was the same after that Sunday.
Prayer
Jesus, thank You that You are alive today! Amen!
Talk about it as a family
- Why is "He is risen" the best news ever?
- How do you think the women felt at the tomb?
- What changed after that Sunday?
5-minute activity
Make a simple tomb from a paper cup on its side with a round paper stone at the opening. Roll the stone away and say together, "He is not here, He is risen!" Read Matthew 28:1-7.
