The Shepherds Went to See
"Let us now go to Bethlehem and see this thing that has come to pass."Luke 2:15
Reflection
They did not stand around debating whether it was true: they went to check. Curiosity that turns into action is where faith begins.
Prayer
Jesus, I want to go after You as the shepherds did. Amen!
Talk about it as a family
- What did the shepherds do after hearing the news?
- Why is it good to go and check instead of just debating?
- What did they tell others after seeing Jesus?
5-minute activity
Play a nativity hunt: hide the baby Jesus figure and give clues until the child finds it. Then they tell everyone what they found, like the shepherds. Read Luke 2:15-18.
