The Light Has Come
"The people who walked in darkness have seen a great light."Isaiah 9:2
Reflection
December has the darkest nights in many places, and that is exactly when we celebrate the arrival of the Light.
Prayer
Jesus, You are the light that came to me. Amen!
Talk about it as a family
- Why is light so important on a dark night?
- Who is the great light in this verse?
- How can you bring light to someone?
5-minute activity
Turn off the lights and switch on fairy lights or flashlights one at a time while reading the verse. Talk about the light Jesus brings. Read Isaiah 9:2 and John 1:5.
