The Flight to Egypt
"Arise, take the young Child and His mother, flee to Egypt."Matthew 2:13
Reflection
Jesus’ family had to run and became refugees. God knows from the inside the pain of having to leave home.
Prayer
Father, take care of whoever had to leave their home. Amen!
Talk about it as a family
- Why did Jesus' family have to flee?
- How would you feel having to leave home suddenly?
- How can we help families who need to start over?
5-minute activity
Choose together clothes or a toy in good condition to give to a family in need, through a church or charity. Talk about Jesus' family in Egypt. Read Matthew 2:13-15.
