Serving Is Growing
"Whoever desires to become great among you shall be your servant."Mark 10:43
Reflection
In the world, great means whoever gives orders. In God’s kingdom, great is whoever helps. Jesus flipped the ruler around and served everyone.
Prayer
Jesus, teach me to be great Your way: by serving. Amen!
Talk about it as a family
- Who is great in God's kingdom?
- How did Jesus serve people?
- How can you serve someone at home today?
5-minute activity
Have a "serve each other" dinner: the child serves the drinks, a grown-up clears the table, someone else washes up. Talk about Jesus, who came to serve. Read Mark 10:42-45.
