Kept in the Heart
"Your word I have hidden in my heart, that I might not sin against You."Psalm 119:11
Reflection
A memorized verse is like a flashlight in your pocket: you forget it is there until you need it. Storing the Word today helps on a hard day later.
Prayer
Lord, keep Your Word deep in my heart. Amen!
Talk about it as a family
- Why is a memorized verse like a flashlight in your pocket?
- Which verse would you like to memorize?
- When could a verse help you on a hard day?
5-minute activity
Choose a short verse and learn it together with hand motions. Write it on a card the child can keep in their pocket or backpack. Read Psalm 119:11.
