Peter Restored
"Jesus said to him, "Feed My sheep.""John 21:17
Reflection
Peter had denied Jesus three times. Jesus asked three times if he loved Him and gave his job back. That is real forgiveness.
Prayer
Lord, thank You for always giving me a new chance. Amen!
Talk about it as a family
- How many times did Peter deny Jesus?
- How many times did Jesus ask if Peter loved Him?
- What does real forgiveness look like?
5-minute activity
Draw three hearts on a sheet of paper. In each one, the child writes a way to show love to Jesus by caring for others, just like "feed My sheep." Read John 21:15-17.
