Looking Back
"Thus far the Lord has helped us."1 Samuel 7:12
Reflection
The year is ending. It is worth looking back and counting out loud the times God helped.
Prayer
Lord, thank You for this whole year. Amen!
Talk about it as a family
- When did God help you this year?
- What does "thus far the Lord has helped us" mean?
- What was the best memory of the year?
5-minute activity
Stack stones or blocks, one for each time the family remembers God helping this year, saying each one aloud. Samuel also set up a stone to remember. Read 1 Samuel 7:12.
