Caring for the Small
"Defend the poor and fatherless; do justice to the afflicted and needy."Psalm 82:3
Reflection
God pays special attention to whoever is left out. Noticing the kid nobody notices is doing exactly what God does.
Prayer
Father, help me see whoever is being left out. Amen!
Talk about it as a family
- Who usually gets left out at school or church?
- Why does God care so much about the needy?
- How could you include someone this week?
5-minute activity
Pack a small care bag with snacks or a note for someone in need, or for a classmate who is often alone. Decide together who will receive it. Read Psalm 82:3-4.
