A Brand New Start
"If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away."2 Corinthians 5:17
Reflection
God gives us the chance to start over every single day. No matter what happened before, with Jesus we can be completely new. What an incredible gift!
Prayer
Lord, thank You for making everything new in my life. Amen!
Talk about it as a family
- What would you like to start over this year?
- What does it mean to be a new creation in Jesus?
- How does it feel to know God lets us begin again every day?
5-minute activity
Give everyone a blank sheet of paper. On one side, draw something from last year you want to leave behind; on the other, something new you hope for. Fold the old side under and pray together. Read 2 Corinthians 5:17.
