The Bible, My Lamp
"Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path."Psalm 119:105
Reflection
The Bible is like a flashlight that lights the path when it is dark. The more we read it, the more we can see where God wants us to go.
Prayer
Lord, help me read and understand the Bible every day. Amen!
Talk about it as a family
- How is the Bible like a flashlight?
- What is one Bible story you remember well?
- When could you read the Bible together this week?
5-minute activity
Turn off the lights in a hallway and walk through slowly with just a flashlight pointed at your feet. Then talk about how the Bible shows us the next step. Read Psalm 119:105.
