A Promise of Return
"I will come again and receive you to Myself."John 14:3
Reflection
Jesus promised to come back and collect. It is not a final goodbye, it is a see you soon we are still going to understand.
Prayer
Jesus, I want to wait for You with joy. Amen!
Talk about it as a family
- What is it like to wait for someone you love to come home from a trip?
- What did Jesus promise before going up to heaven?
- What would you like to do while waiting for Jesus?
5-minute activity
Make a paper countdown to a special family date. Talk about waiting joyfully for someone who promised to come back, as Jesus did. Read John 14:3 and Acts 1:11.
