The full story: The Angel and Mary

Part 1

Mary was a young woman who loved God very much. She lived in Nazareth and had a heart full of kindness and faith.

One day, suddenly, a being of light appeared in her room. It was the angel Gabriel, sent directly by the Father in Heaven! Mary was scared, but the angel said:

Angel Gabriel: Greetings, Mary! The Lord is with you. You are blessed among women!

Part 2

Angel Gabriel explained that Mary was going to be the mother of Jesus — the Son of God! This would be the greatest gift the world had ever received.

Mary was surprised: "How can this be, since I am not married yet?"

The angel answered that nothing is impossible for God. The Holy Spirit would take care of everything.

"For nothing is impossible with God." — Luke 1:37

Part 3

Mary took a deep breath, and with a heart full of trust in God, she said the most beautiful words:

"Yes, I accept! Let it be done to me according to your will!"

And so began the most amazing story in the world — the birth of Jesus. Mary showed us that trusting God, even without understanding everything, is the greatest wisdom!

"I am the Lord’s servant. May everything you have said about me come true." — Luke 1:38
