Summary for the teacher
The angel Gabriel visited Mary, a young woman from Nazareth who loved God, and told her she would be the mother of Jesus, the Son of God. Mary asked how this could happen, and the angel answered that nothing is impossible with God. Full of trust, Mary said: "I am the Lord’s servant; may it happen to me as you have said".
