Samson and Real Strength
"O Lord God, remember me, I pray! Strengthen me, I pray."Judges 16:28
Reflection
Samson had strength to spare and still had to ask. Real strength always comes from outside ourselves.
Prayer
God, my strength comes from You. Amen!
Talk about it as a family
- Where did Samson's strength come from?
- Why did he still have to ask God?
- Where does real strength come from?
5-minute activity
Make a muscle-flex poster: draw a strong arm and write "strength comes from God" across it. Then each person names something they need strength for. Read Judges 16:28-30.
