The Three in the Furnace
"But if not, let it be known to you, O king, that we do not serve your gods."Daniel 3:18
Reflection
They said God could save them, and that even if He did not, they would not switch sides. That is faith with no conditions.
Prayer
Lord, I want to follow You whatever happens. Amen!
Talk about it as a family
- What did the three friends say to the king?
- What does "even if not" mean?
- Who was with them in the fire?
5-minute activity
Cut out four paper figures: three friends and one more. Act out the story inside a box decorated as a furnace, and count who the king saw walking in the fire. Read Daniel 3:16-27.
