Rest for the Soul
"Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest."Matthew 11:28
Reflection
That invitation has no fine print. Tired? Come. Jesus does not ask you to improve before drawing near.
Prayer
Jesus, I come to You with my tiredness. Amen!
Talk about it as a family
- What makes you tired inside?
- Does Jesus ask us to get better before coming to Him?
- How can you come to Jesus today?
5-minute activity
Make a cozy rest corner with pillows and a blanket. Lie down together for five quiet minutes and take turns telling Jesus what makes you tired. Read Matthew 11:28-30.
