The Peace Jesus Left
"Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you."John 14:27
Reflection
The world’s peace depends on everything going right. Jesus’ peace works even when nothing does. They are very different things.
Prayer
Jesus, give me Your peace today. Amen!
Talk about it as a family
- What does the world's peace depend on?
- How is Jesus' peace different?
- When do you need Jesus' peace the most?
5-minute activity
Starting the month of peace, fill a clear bottle with water and a little sand. Shake it, then wait for it to settle while breathing slowly together. Talk about the peace Jesus gives. Read John 14:27.
