A Promise of Light
"I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness."John 8:12
Reflection
Darkness is frightening because you cannot see the next step. Jesus promised to be a flashlight for whoever walks with Him.
Prayer
Jesus, light up my road. Amen!
Talk about it as a family
- Why is darkness frightening?
- What did Jesus promise to those who follow Him?
- How can Jesus be light on a hard day?
5-minute activity
Turn off the lights in a room and cross it slowly together with a flashlight. Then try without one, carefully. Talk about the difference. Read John 8:12.
