Summary for the teacher
Jesus told of a man who was robbed and left hurt by the side of the road. A priest and a Levite walked by and did not help. A Samaritan, from a people who did not get along with the Jews, stopped, bandaged his wounds, took him to an inn, and paid for his care. Jesus said: "Go and do the same".
