Summary for the teacher

King Solomon built the Temple of the Lord in Jerusalem with fragrant cedar and stones cut ahead of time, so no hammer was heard at the building site. Inside, everything was covered in gold, with carved cherubim, flowers, and palm trees. After seven years, God’s house was finished, and God promised to live among his people.
