Summary for the teacher
The apostle John had a vision of the future: a new heaven and a new earth. He saw the New Jerusalem coming down from heaven, a city with streets of clear gold and walls of precious stones, lit by the glory of God. There God will live with his people and wipe away every tear, and there will be no more death, sadness, or pain.
