Summary for the teacher
Nehemiah heard that the walls of Jerusalem had been torn down, and he wept and prayed. The king he served let him go and rebuild them. Nehemiah organized the people: each family repaired one section, and half of them stood guard against the enemies who mocked them. In only 52 days, the wall was finished.
