Summary for the teacher
After rising from the dead, Jesus spent forty days with his disciples. He told them to wait in Jerusalem for the Holy Spirit, who would give them power to be his witnesses to the ends of the earth. Then Jesus was taken up into heaven, and a cloud hid him. Two angels promised he would come back the same way.
