The Wisdom of Ants
"Go to the ant, you sluggard! Consider her ways and be wise."Proverbs 6:6
Reflection
The ant stores in summer so nothing is missing in winter. Preparing today for what you need tomorrow is a lesson from a tiny creature.
Prayer
Father, teach me to prepare ahead of time. Amen!
Talk about it as a family
- What does the ant do in summer?
- How can we prepare today for tomorrow?
- What can a tiny creature teach us?
5-minute activity
Look for ants outside and watch them carrying food for a few minutes. If you can't find any, draw them. Then plan one thing to prepare today for tomorrow. Read Proverbs 6:6-8.
