Thanks for Nature
"Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap; yet your heavenly Father feeds them."Matthew 6:26
Reflection
Jesus told us to look at the birds to learn to trust. If God takes care of them, He takes much more care of you.
Prayer
Father, thank You for caring for me as You care for the birds. Amen!
Talk about it as a family
- What did Jesus tell us to look at?
- How does God care for the birds?
- What does that say about how He cares for you?
5-minute activity
Sit by a window or in a park and watch the birds for five minutes. Count them, or draw one. Talk about God feeding them and caring for you. Read Matthew 6:25-27.
