The word guard there is a soldier standing watch. God’s peace stands sentry over your heart while you sleep.

Build a small castle from blocks or boxes and place a toy soldier at the gate. Write "God's peace" on the soldier. Talk about God guarding our hearts. Read Philippians 4:7.
