Courage From Within
"I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."Philippians 4:13
Reflection
Paul wrote that in prison. It is not a promise of getting everything we want: it is a promise of enduring whatever comes, with Him.
Prayer
Jesus, strengthen me for whatever comes today. Amen!
Talk about it as a family
- Where was Paul when he wrote this?
- Is this a promise to get everything we want?
- What do you need strength to endure?
5-minute activity
Make a list of everything the child faced bravely this month. Read it aloud, then write Philippians 4:13 at the bottom and hang it up. Read Philippians 4:11-13.
