This sheet works as an index: every name found is a story your child has already heard or is about to hear. That is why it does more in the middle of a series than on its own — children recognize the names and want to tell what they remember about each.

A format that works well in a group: for each name found, someone gets thirty seconds to summarize that person’s story. Whoever does not know passes without embarrassment.
