Summary for the teacher
The prophet Elisha’s students were cutting wood by the Jordan River when the iron head of a borrowed axe fell into the deep water. The young man was very upset. Elisha threw a stick into that spot and, by a miracle, the heavy iron floated. The young man reached out and picked up the axe head.
