Summary for the teacher
David was a young shepherd who looked after his father’s sheep and trusted in God. The giant Goliath challenged Israel’s army, and everyone was afraid. David said he would fight in the name of the Lord. With no sword or armor, just his sling and five smooth stones, he brought the giant down with a single shot.
