Summary for the teacher
God called Abraham to leave his land and go to a place he would show him. Abraham obeyed without knowing where he was going. God promised that his family would be as many as the stars in the sky. Even though he was old, Abraham believed, and God kept his promise with the birth of Isaac. That is why he is called the "father of faith".
