Love That Never Ends
"His mercy endures forever."Psalm 136:1
Reflection
That line repeats twenty-six times in one psalm. Sometimes the most important things need saying over and over until they sink in.
Prayer
God, Your love never runs out. Thank You! Amen!
Talk about it as a family
- Why would a psalm repeat the same line so many times?
- What do you need to hear more than once?
- What has God done that shows His mercy?
5-minute activity
Read Psalm 136 together: a grown-up reads the first half of each verse and the child answers every time, "His mercy endures forever." Count how many times you said it. Read Psalm 136:1-9.
